Joanna Pilarczyk
Born in Poland, Joanna Pilarczyk now lives and works in Tottenham. She began drawing and painting at an early age, developing her skills during 10 years of studying art at both college and university, including a MA degree in visual arts education and painting from the University of Zielona Gora, Poland.
After moving to London in 2012 she launched a career as an illustrator and fine arts tutor running drop-in classes and art courses in North London. She works as a freelance artist selling her work to private collectors and taking commissions for paintings, drawings, digital illustrations and murals in Europe. Joanna works in various digital and traditional media, such as oil painting, watercolour, ink, pencil or charcoal. She focuses her work on portraiture, life and urban scenes.
